HOW TO ORDER
|
Items can be ordered three ways:
- through our shopping cart. When you place an order using this method you will receive a confirmation of the order by e-mail. This is a confirmation of the placing of the order only. We will then pull the items and ensure everything is in order as well as make any adjustments to the shipping required - we will never ask for additional shipping but will, if the parcel is lighter, reduce the shipping amount.

If you use options 2 or 3 be sure to note the item number of the item(s) you would like to order.
Remember . . . if you have a spam filter to add our e-mail address ( paladinbooks1@shaw.ca) to your friends list.
Should one or more items in your order have a condition classified as UK [Unknown condition email for $ & condition] we will pull the item then grade and final price the item. If the item is in a less than good condition, we will e-mail you with the full description and the reduced price for your approval. In a case like this, no charges will be made to your credit card until you have approved or declined the item.

Shipping
|
We ship most items in brown bubble envelopes and enter the items on the customs declaration as printed material.
Shipping is done daily from Monday through Friday, no shipping is sent out on Saturday or Sunday as there is no pick up at our outlet on those days.
Below is our shipping rate chart. These prices are based on the package weighing about 1 kg or 2.2 lbs. Should the actual shipping be less than quoted below, we will adjust the shipping to the actual shipping amount of using the quickest method available within the price quoted. For example if you choose surface mail and the cost of shipping your package air mail would be the same or less than quoted, we will ship air mail and you would be charged that price.
We will never ask for additional shipping although you will often be charged less than quoted, especially on International shipping and multiple item orders.
Shipping Rates
US Destinations
All parcels over 1kg [approx 2.2 lbs] are shipped Expedited Parcel which provides tracking. Surface/Air options are not available
Small Packet Surface - 1st item - $8.00 each additional item $4.50
Small Packet Air - 1st item - $15.00 each additional item $7.00
XpressPost - $17.00 [for smaller items - ie a magazine, or paperbacks - larger items would need to be weighed then quoted]
International Destinations
Surface Mail: We do not ship by surface mail to international locations due to the time involved.
Air Mail - Up to 500 g - $16.00: Up to 1 kg - $32.00: Up to 2 kg - $50.00
XpressPost - $48.00 [38 cm x 24 cm - magazine sized - holds 2 to 6 magazines depending on thickness]
Canadian Destinations
Expedited Parcel [same rates as Regular Mail, but quicker] -

US Destinations
The average delivery time is 10 business days for surface mail.
International Destinations
Air mail takes between 2 - 8 weeks for delivery.
E-mail for quotes on Purolator prices if you would like delivery in 2 - 10 business days.
Canadian Destinations
Canadians must add GST to their order total.
