Condition: We have tried to keep things as simple as we can, here is our philosophy: We price the item first, then we apply a name to the condition of the item (New, As New, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor etc.) Our description of the condition should let you know what faults, if any, there are to the item, the pictures attached to each item are of the actual item. So if an item is $7.99, and we say it is in 'very good' condition, and when you get it, if you think it is in 'good' condition, we will agree with you. But the price will still be $7.99!

HOW TO ORDER
|
Items can be ordered three ways:
- through our shopping cart. When you place an order using this method you will receive a confirmation of the order by e-mail. This is a confirmation of the placing of the order only. We will then pull the items and ensure everything is in order as well as make any adjustments to the shipping required - we will never ask for additional shipping but will, if the parcel is lighter, reduce the shipping amount.

If you use options 2 or 3 be sure to note the item number of the item(s) you would like to order.
Remember . . . if you have a spam filter to add our e-mail address ( paladinbooks1@shaw.ca) to your friends list.
Should one or more items in your order have a condition classified as UK [Unknown condition email for $ & condition] we will pull the item then grade and final price the item. If the item is in a less than good condition, we will e-mail you with the full description and the reduced price for your approval. In a case like this, no charges will be made to your credit card until you have approved or declined the item.

Searching for magazines is a little different:
To search for a particular Title use the dropdown box and specify Author for your search
To search for a specific Year specify Title for your search
To search for a particular subject search Everywhere.

A Note about UK for the Condition code
UK is used when we know that we have the magazine in stock, but have, as yet, not inspected the condition or researched the price. The price is included only because the catalog program requires an entry in that field. Aside from the Playboy and Penthouse catalogs the UK price shown is close to the final price, you will never be charged more than the price indicated. For the Playboy and Penthouse magazines the UK prices reflect the prices listed by Playboy and Penthouse on their sites, if you place an order for any of these items we will adjust the price. Please do not hesitate to e-mail us for more information.
A Note on Censorship
If pages are missing due to censorship or any other reason, a note of that will be in the item description. Should black dots (popular in Canada in the 80's and early 90s) or some other form of censorship be used, there may be no mention of it in the item description. If this is important to you please e-mail BEFORE you order and we will be happy to look it up for you. We carry some issues that have been censored due to Canadian Customs laws (again mostly in the 80s and early 90s), but the largest percentage are not censored.
