HOW TO ORDER
|
Items can be ordered three ways:
- through our shopping cart. When you place an order using this method you will receive a confirmation of the order by e-mail. This is a confirmation of the placing of the order only. We will then pull the items and ensure everything is in order as well as make any adjustments to the shipping required - we will never ask for additional shipping but will, if the parcel is lighter, reduce the shipping amount.

If you use options 2 or 3 be sure to note the item number of the item(s) you would like to order.
Remember . . . if you have a spam filter to add our e-mail address ( paladinbooks1@shaw.ca) to your friends list.
Should one or more items in your order have a condition classified as UK [Unknown condition email for $ & condition] we will pull the item then grade and final price the item. If the item is in a less than good condition, we will e-mail you with the full description and the reduced price for your approval. In a case like this, no charges will be made to your credit card until you have approved or declined the item.

Where We Began
In October of 1984 my husband, Tim, and I (Susan) started Tim's Book Exchange in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Slowly we expanded our business and tore down walls. In 1990 the Laundromat that occupied the rest of the building we are in, moved out and we were faced with a dilemma, do we look for another tenant, or take the space ourselves? Well, we decided to take the space ourselves and spent every Sunday for the next 14 months remodeling and building shelving.
In March of 2000 we bought a new computer on payment and hooked up to the Internet. Then we discovered eBay. We started selling on eBay that month and by the end of the first three months we had paid for the computer. As of December 2007 we have sold over 12,000 items.
How We Became PaladinBooks
The cost and limitations of eBay keep rising, so we decided that in order to give our customers the level of service we want to give, a website was in order, you can browse our inventory (or use the search engine on the catalog pages) here:

We have always been great fans of the TV show Have Gun Will Travel starring Richard Boone who played Paladin, so we combined Paladin with what we sell and came up with PaladinBooks.
We use the internet's predominant currency. All of our prices and shipping amounts are quoted in US DOLLARS ALL SALES ARE FINAL so please e-mail before ordering. We never mind answering questions. To us it doesn't matter how many e-mails it takes before you are satisfied that you know exactly what you are getting.

- At PaladinBooks we never share customer with any person or company that does not have a direct relationship with your transaction
- We do not trade, share or sell e-mail or purchase information
- Contact is limited to transaction details only. Typically that is about 3 or 4 e-mails
- We encourage customers to e-mail for information about anything they are considering purchasing and will exchange as many e-mails as the customer wants to ensure the item they receive is exactly what they are expecting
- We do not initiate any e-mail contact that has not been requested through an order or Want request
- Your transaction details will be seen by a maximum of three people from the time you place your order to completion of the transaction
- No credit information is ever stored on the site
